Real time measurement of atmospheric aerosol concentration
PDR-1000AN can measure the real-time concentration of smoke, dust, and fog in the atmosphere, and provide an audible alarm when the concentration exceeds the user set value. The traditional membrane sampling analysis method cannot obtain aerosol concentration in real time and issue warnings for dangerous concentrations, while pDR-1000AN can provide alerts within seconds so that users can take reasonable action in the first place. PDR-1000AN has data recording and storage functions, making it convenient for users to call, print, and plot data.
Suitable for individual aerosol detection
The detector has an automatic range of 0.001-400 mg/m3 and an optical feedback balanced sensing system, all of which have set new standards for sensitivity, long-term stability, and reliability in this industry. PDR-1000AN is only palm sized and weighs 0.5kg, making it very convenient to hang on belts or shoulder straps. The detector does not require moving parts such as sampling pumps, motors, or valves, and can operate stably for a long time.
measuring method
PDR-1000AN adopts the principle of light scattering photometer, including pulsed near-infrared light-emitting diode, silicon detector/preamplifier, optical integrator, and silicon detector feedback source probe. When aerosol particles pass through the detection chamber, the intensity of forward scattering at an angle of 50-90 degrees is proportional to the concentration of the aerosol. The optical structure of the instrument is most ideal for particles with a diameter of 0.1-10 μ m, which is consistent with the results of the standard weight method for detecting inhalable/chest penetrating particles.
Calibration is simple
PDR-1000AN can start working after a simple zero calibration. Calibration is based on the weight method, using the unit mg/m3 (NIST traceable), and calibration is performed using standard SAE test dust. The use of matching zero calibration tools can facilitate quick and effective zero calibration of instruments on site. Internal firmware automatically runs calibration checks. The most effective calibration method on site is to compare the results with standard membrane samplers and set calibration constants.
Thermo's PDR-1000AN utilizes the principle of scattered light measurement, passive sampling, and real-time on-site monitoring of dust, smoke, and fog concentrations
The monitored dust particles range from 0.1-10 μ m, with a measurement range of up to 400mg/m3
Real time display of real-time concentration, maximum value, STEL value, and TWA value
The built-in memory can store 13300 data from 99 independent data sets
The instrument automatically defines items and records time and measurement results
When the set value is exceeded, the instrument will automatically sound an alarm
Download monitoring data through randomly attached data processing software and automatically generate graphics and data tables
